eBay Treats - Cutest Paper

eBay Treats - Cutest Paper

Recently I have been sending a lot more personal letter, to people all around the world in fact. Since starting pen paling again I have been on the search for the perfect stationery. This post is about just this; after searching the shops and finding very little I decided to give eBay a go. Here is what I bought / Bid on:
I've taken out some of the inserts.

40 sheets of the cutest A5 "Babu" lined writing paper. I bought these for 2.40.

40 Sheets of A5 'Diddled 4' lined writing paper. Again I paid 2.40 for these.

Cute decorative envelopes size C6, I bought these for 1.50. The envelopes are from Taiwan, designs include: dogs, cats, rabbits, bears, nature and nautical themes. I bought these because you rarely see such envelopes in the shops.

I also bought a mixed lot of around 150+ sheets / envelopes of various sizes and designs. Here are just a few of the larger paper including Winnie the Pooh, Diddle, Tarepanda, ibear and morning glory.
In total it cost 4.20.

In the set where also really cut small notes such as the penguin, there were also lots of stickers and various other items such as bookmarks.

And my favourite items of the mixed lot have to be the gorgeous Hello Kitty range. All in all I think this has been one of my favourite eBay purchases :).

I'm really enjoyed snail mailing at the moment, and love receiving letters, especially those of Alison and other countries. Get that little excited feeling when you look in the mail box every morning :P hehe.
If your interested in pen paling, please don't hesitate to give me a message :).

If you like my posts, please comment and start following, I will do the same :). Thank you.

Adorable Buy...

' Adorable Buy...'

Cute Stickers

After a long day (9.00 till 16.30) of training for the Children's Society I decided that I deserved a little treat, so popped into Accsessorize. It's actually only very recently that I discovered their cute range of stationery goods, after buying some post it notes the other week. Recently bought post it notes.

Their range is quite small but for their 'sometimes slightly high priced other items,' I feel their stationery is very reasonable, it's also really good quality.

I'd noticed the stickers last time i went in, but had limited funds. So with some of my winnings ( I won  100 pounds on a scratch card) in my purse I headed to Accessorize on my way home. I bought three packs of stickers from a choice of half a stand full of packs. Here they are:

Pack one:

Kitty Stickers
My favourite animal, although pretty much loving all animals, has always been cats and kittens. So I thought it only appropriate to get these sweet little multi - coloured cat heads. There are mainly cat heads, with the odd few whole cats, surrounded by tiny paws, fish, hearts and bows. At 1.50 I thought these were well priced and a must for all cat lovers.

Pack two:

Smiley Faces and Mini Animals
These two sticker sheets came in the same pack. I bought these mainly because I really liked the back sheets of stickers which where the ones with animals and other small objects including; mushrooms etc.. Although I'm sure the smiley face stickers will come in useful for decorative purposes. I especially like the cupcake, mushroom and frog stickers. Getting both sheets for 2.00 again is more than reasonable as I would say there are about 140 stickers.

Pack three:

Jigsaw Stickers
I reckon these are probably my favourite out of the three packs. In the shape of a jigsaw (The pieces actually fit together) are a variety of cute animals; some with writing such as, 'Happy,' 'Best Friends,' and some without. The stickers are quite thick and made of a stiff plastic around the edges and a more squidgy centre. They were the most expensive out of the lot at 2.50, but in my opinion worth it as there rather different and fab quality.

I rarely use stickers in my everyday life unless it's so annoyingly stick them on friends, the main purpose for me is for decorating letters which are sent to my pen pals. So if any of you reading are snail-mailing with me currently then look forward to a letter full of these. =].

If you like my posts, please comment and give us a follow and I shall do like wise. Thanks.

My Handmade Trinkets // Retro Necklaces Make Great Presents

For a while now I have been making necklaces on E-bay, I thought I would share my latest handmade jewelry. I usually post these straight onto e-bay but seen as I am currently struggling a little bit with account selling preferences I thought I would list them in a little blog as well.
So if you see anything you like please don't hesitate to get in touch, they make great presents or stocking fillers :).

I also thought I would create a post just to show off another of my interests / hobbies :). I hope you like them.

Tabs! Tabs! Tabs!

Tabs! Tabs! Tabs!

So, In the set up off my new Finsbury I decided to use the address tabs at the back to use for the different sections as I have two lots of these.

I decided I wanted a bit of theme going on, and choose the theme labels. So I got a bit creative and here are what I will be sticking on my tabs/inserts.

Stationary Geek

Stationary Geek

Seen as I have been ignoring posting for a short while due to my camera being in storage during the recent move, I thought I would upload a small number of my recent stationary purchases (The ones I could put my hands on anyway).

Writing Set

This little pack was bought from Homesense, I thought it was a little bit different and would be useful for the two letters I shall be responding too.
A few pictures of the sets contents:

The Whole Set

8 Stripey Envelopes

16 Eyelet Sheets

Address Labels

Ties for the Eyelet Paper

The set cost £1.99 and is produced by the Santoro Collection; http://www.santorographics.com/  I've just had a quick look at the shop on this website and it looks fantastic, not something I have come across before. Oh dear.. Student loan...

Card

Picked these sheets of card up from Dunelm Mill for 29p a sheet, I'll be using them for my new diary dividers.

Sticky Notes

I didn't realize, after not venturing in for years, that Accessorize had a stationary line, I keep these in my filo now. The cuteness is defiantly worth all of the £2.50 spent on them.

Diary Inserts

Bought at the same time as the sticky notes above for £5.00. Originally they came in spiral bound notebooks but because my initial thinking was purchases for my filo I ripped out the pages, cut off the top edge and then hole punched to fit in my A5.

Used as my weekly to do lists.

The original notebook they came in.
